The Scottish Government is currently working up plans which will limit the number of multiple occupancy homes (HMOs) in an area. This will be devastating. Putting limits or quotas on the number of HMOs in an area will increase rents, lower standards and damage the local economy of areas as well as pushing particular groups away from where they want to live.

They want to limit your right to rent.

We only have a couple of weeks to stop these plans and ensure that the Government knows your concerns.

Right to Rent is a campaign run by students and for students but the issue of HMO Quotas will also affect young professionals, young families, those unable to secure social housing and migrant workers.
